"Colour Revolt have never been ones to pander to fans. They left behind the epic, Modest Mouse-esque freakouts of their self-titled EP for subdued, bluesy rock on their first LP, 2008's Plunder, Beg, And Curse. Now they're infecting their Southern- and blues-affected brand of slow-cooked indie rock with bouts of restrained tension and vaguely impetuous guitars. Opener "8 Years" is the most straightforwardly aggressive song in the band's canon, an autobiographical, jaunty rock number recounting the band's history and misadventures. "Everything Is The Same" is a perfectly rustic, acoustic breather with yearning tones sprinkled across, while the band get their Cure on with "Each Works." Frankly, that song title sums up The Cradle, aswell: No matter what Colour Revolt decide to do on these tracks, each is successful." Brian Shultz
Cadillac Sky's new album, Letters in the Deep, produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, is anything but traditional and marks the metamorphosis of Cadillac Sky from a critically-acclaimed Bluegrass band to a band without boundaries. Cadillac Sky began recording the new album in Auerbach’s studio, Akron Analog which proved to be a pivotal moment for the band. Auerbach played an instrumental role with a hands-off production approach, totally concentrating on shaping the sound of the record. The result is an honest, breathing piece of art that is amazingly authentic and gut-wrenchingly real. More details on the release of the album soon...

Winning Best Band at the Austin Music Awards in 1994 and ultimately getting signed to and putting out several records with Epic, the Black Cat recordings, digitally re-mastered and including 5 never before released bonus tracks, represents the best of the band in their first year of existence.
